1st Day. Monday
Arrival to La Habana. Welcome and transportation to the hotel. Check-in and settle in the rooms, dinner at the hotel. Free night.
2nd Day. Tuesday. La Habana.
Breakfast. Visit to the Morro-Cabaña Lookout. Walk through the Historical Center of La Habana Vieja, a World Heritage Cultural Site, San Francisco de Asis plaza, visit to the Rum Museum to appreciate the production process of the rum Havana Club and have a tasting of this amazing rum. Walk through the Plaza Vieja, coming back by the Mercaderes Street to reach the Ambos Mundos Hotel where you will visit the room where the north-american writer Ernest Hemingway used to live and you will enjoy a cocktail. Visit to the Museum of Tobacco in the Historical Center, the Armas Plaza, the Cathedral Plaza and La Bodeguita del Medio restaurant-bar. Lunch at the restaurant La Barca. Walk through the outside of the Revolution Museum, the Havana Central Park, the Big Theatre of La Havana and the National Capitol. Visit to the Floridita restaurant. Walk through the amazing Habanero Lookout towards to the modern side of La Habana, Revolution Plaza and the University Hills. Return to the hotel and dinner at the El Aljibe restaurant. Free Night.
3rd Day, Wednesday. La Habana/Vineyard/La habana.
Breakfast. Departure in air-conditioned omnibus to the Vineyard Valley on Piñar del Rio, the occidental province of Cuba and where is cultivated one of the best tobacco of the world. Exotic views of natural valleys during the ride. Visit to the Factory of Tobacco on Piñar del Rio. Visit to the plantation “El paraíso” where you will discover the day to day routine of the farmers, experience the hospitality and kindness of these framers. Visit the Indian Cave, where you will enjoy a ride inside the underground river. Lunch at the “Palenque de los Cimarrones” restaurant. Visit to the Prehistoric Mural to admire the paints on ancient rocks from the island. A quick stop to enjoy the view at the “Los Jazmines” lookout. Return to the hotel and dinner. Free night.
4th Day, Thursday. La Habana/Guamá/Cienfuegos/Trinidad.
Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure to the Cienfuegos city with a quick visit to the “Fiesta Campesina” farm, the first glimpse of the amazing fauna and flora of the Zapata Peninsula, where you will enjoy a refreshing drink. Visit to the touristic city of Guamá with it’s impressive Crocodile farm. Lunch at the “La Boca” restaurant. Departure to the South Coast of “La Ciénaga de Zapata”, ancient scenario of the battle in the 1961 against the invasor troops of USA on the “Larga Beach” & “Girón Beach”. Arrive to the Cienfuegos city. Walk through the main streets and avenues of the wonderful Cienfuegos city, the only city which was founded by the French government, it’s located at the beautiful bay protected by the Jagua Castle. One of the main characteristic of this city it’s the neo-classical architecture and the long pedestrian walkway. Visit to the “Tomas Terry” Theatre. Walk through the “Martí Park”, The “Casa del Fondo de Bienes Culturales”, visit the “Purísima Concepción” Cathedral and the Valley Palace. Departure to Trinidad. Arrive to the hotel and dinner. Free night.
5th Day, Friday. Trinidad.
Breakfast. Visit to the Ingenuity Valley and enjoy a cocktail. Walk through Trinidad, one of the first village founded by Spain on the beginning of the XVI century, titled as one of the World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO. Visit the “Holy Trinity” church, and admire it’s classical architecture with ancient luxury wooden panels, visit the town square and the Museum. Visit to the Colonial Bar. Visit to the house of “Chichi” the potter of the Santander family. Return to the hotel and dinner. Free time.
6th Day, Saturday. Trinidad / Camagüey.
Breakfast. Departure to the Camagüey City. Arrival to the city of the Tinajones. Lunch at the Bell of Toledo restaurant. Walk through the city, visit the Our Lady of Mercy church, visit the Carmen Square. Arrival to the selected hotel. Dinner. Free night.
7th. Day, Sunday. Camagüey/ Santiago de Cuba
Breakfast. Departure to Santiago de Cuba. Stop at the Bayamo city, walk through the Historical Center. Lunch at the Royalton restaurant. Continue of the trip to Santiago de Cuba. Visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Charity Of EL Cobre, considered by the cubans as the Saint of Cuba and is one of the most veneradet. Arrival to the selected hotel and diner. Free Night.
8th. Day, Monday. Santiago de Cuba.
Breakfast. Walk through the city of Santiago de Cuba. Tour on the Necropolis of Saint Ifigenia, where the remains of the national cuban hero José Martí rest. Walk through Antonio Maceo Plaza and the 26th of July Museum. Tour on the Historical Center of the town, the Céspedes Park, the Cathedral, visit to the house of Diego Velázquez, Padre Pico Street, Heredia Street, Dolores Plaza. Visit to the Morro Fortress which is located at the entrance of the bay. Lunch at the “El Morro” restaurant. Return to the hotel and dinner. Free Night.
9th. Day, Tuesday. Santiago de Cuba/Baracoa.
Breakfast. Departure to the Baracoa city. Visit to the city of Guantánamo: tour to the French Grave and the house of Changuí. Lunch at the “La Lupe” restaurant. Continue to the trip to Baracoa. Arrival to the selected hotel and dinner. At night walk through the amazing Historical Center of Baracoa, the first village founded by the spanish on América and first capital of the Island of Cuba, which feature the cross brought by Cristobal Colon and it is considered as one of the ancient christian religion in Cuba,visit to the Municipal Fortress of Matachín. Return to the hotel.
10th. Day, Wednesday. Baracoa
Breakfast. Departure in excursion to the TOA Ranch with lunch. Visit to the Touristic Ranch of TOA, which show the day to day life of a farmer from the region, their habits, the way of built their houses, the transportation through the river, the traditional gastronomy, agricultural products based on cocoa and coconut, and you will enjoy and taste a cup of Chorote, have a creole breakfast lunch and a trip on boat by the rTOA river, the most fast-flowing river of Cuba, located in the Nature Reserve of the Biosphere “Cuchillas del TOA”. Return to the hotel and dinner.
11th. Day, Thursday. Baracoa / La Habana.
Breakfast at the hotel and Check Out. 7:15 a.m. Transfer to the Baracoa Airport, check in to take the flight to La Habana. Departure in the Aerocaribbean flight at 9:30 a.m. Arrival to the Airport of La Habana. Arrival to the selected hotel. Free time. NO LUNCH INCLUDED. Dinner at 7:30 p.m. at the hotel.
12th. Day, Friday. La Habana
Breakfast at the hotel. Check Out and transfer to the Jose Marti Airport to take the flight back to Cancun.END OF THE PROGRAM
