Located 64 kilometers from the south of Cancun, near the town of Playa del Carmen, in the Riviera Maya. Fairmont Mayakoba is a luxury resort with tropical forests crossed by channels of clear water and surrounded by the beautiful Caribbean coast.
Accommodation:
Known as the "Venice of the Caribbean," the hotel has 401 rooms and 34 suites, most of it offer private entrances, spa-style baths and balconies or terraces with furniture and views of the rainforest, gardens or the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Its large space makes them perfect for hosting groups; they range from double to quadruple rooms. It's possible to connect some suites with other casitas or suites to get more room, there are also connected rooms available.
All the rooms have: Daily cleaning service, 24-hour concierge service, laundry and dry cleaning service, pressreader (digital access to thousands of newspapers and magazines during your stay), WiFi, three dual line telephones, flat screen TV, air conditioning and ceiling fan, refrigerator, alarm clock, coffee / tea maker, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, ample wardrobe, slippers, bathrobe, hairdryer, vanity mirror, and other amenities.

It has numerous outdoor spaces, such as five pools and nature trails that you can explore by foot or bicycle, many lounges that are perfect for all kind of events, all of them have room for screens, internet and a grand range of audiovisual equipment. The principal lounges are the Riviera Grand Ballroom, with a capacity up to 1,100 people, and the Mimosa Ballroom, with a capacity of 550 people, each one has its own foyer.
The groups can enjoy various activities such as wanderings by boat in the channels, aquatic sports, tennis or paddle, visits to the small town Mayakoba and the Golf Field 'El Camaleon'. It also has its own spa with 20 treatment rooms.
Fairmont Mayakoba has enhanced the culinary experience through a new partnership with Richard Sandoval, chef and owner of internationally renowned restaurants. The image of the restaurants offers a totally new culinary experience, perfect for all kinds of dinners; from menus with modern Mexican, Latin and Tropical concepts.
BRISAS: Restaurant in front of the beach featuring a concept of the Latin coast, has a private area of 14 people and in the indoor area a seating capacity of 90 people.
LA LAGUNA: Located in the La Isla area, it offers a relaxed atmosphere and live music with buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte served in the covered space or on the terrace overlooking the mangrove and water channels.
LAUNCH LOUNGE: Offering informal and inviting decor with an indoor seating area and an open-air terrace overlooking the lagoon and mangrove, it is the ideal place to relax before or after dinner. Live music in the evenings.
LA LAGUNA and LA LAGUNA LOUNGE have a capacity of 120 persons inside the restaurant, 35 at the bar, and 80 in the terrace. It can't be reserved for private events but you can reserve the indoor area of the restaurant (no dinners) for up to 60 people. It also has a private area with a capacity of 16 seated guests or 35 for a cocktail reception.
LAS OLAS & AQUA BARS: They are located in the main pool area and offer a refreshing drink menu, ranging from healthy tropical juices to frozen margaritas prepared with premium tequilas. No reservation needed.
LOBBY LOUNGE: Offering all-new drinks and a menu complete with great snacks, sample dishes to share and views of the canals. No reservation needed.
CAFÉ MAYA: Located in the main pool, it offers delicious products prepared with the best ingredients, space to sit inside or on the terrace and provides the local charm and the warm hospitality of the area. No reservation needed.
MAYAKOBA COFFEE: Located in the small town Mayakoba, enjoy delicious salads, sandwiches, drinks and more. You can also enjoy tempting varieties of chocolates, cookies, desserts and sweets. No reservation needed.
Groups, Meetings and Events Facilities:
The Riviera Maya meeting space at the Fairmont Mayakoba features 26,000 square feet perfect for indoor event spaces and an outdoor event lawn designed specifically to accommodate any type of function. Two ballrooms - Riviera and Mimosa - are next to their respective foyers, the perfect location for a cocktail reception or welcome room. Seven large and small rest rooms, and outdoor space equipped with modern technology can easily adapt to the specific needs for groups and conventions.
RIVIERA GRAND BALLROOM & FOYER: 10,000 square feet that can be divided in half or third rooms. Includes spaces for screens, wireless internet and a grand range of audiovisual equipment. It has a foyer that can host up to 250 guests.
MIMOSA BALLROOM & FOYER: Measuring 5,000 sq. ft., it can be divided in-two; the ballroom is fronted by a foyer that can host receptions for 180.
ACACIA, FLAMBOYAN, PALMA & CORDIA: these four adjacent salons feature outdoor terraces allowing for a variety of flexible set-ups.
CEIBA & COPAL: At 1,000 sq. ft. each, a boardroom for 30 or a reception for 125 are equally easy.
AMATE: Located next to Ceiba, this 650 sq. ft. space is well-suited for break-out sessions or coffee breaks.
ISLA EVENT LAWN: Ideally located on an island at the center of the resort complex, this expansive 8,000 sq. ft. outdoor function area has electrical power, audio-visual and Internet connections.
